God is Good!

I want to thank all the saints who lifted Peyton Rose up in prayer. God has performed a miracle of healing on her and the best news of all is:

!!!!!!!!!!!SHE'S HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Her mommy and daddy brought her home from the hospital this morning and she is as healthy as can be. Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
-Psalm 103:1-5

New Update on Peyton Rose

Peyton Rose continues to improve, all praises be to God! Her mommy was technically released from the hospital but they have been able to stay in a family room there in order to remain close to their baby girl. They may need to leave the room if a more needy family comes in and will then have to relocate to a nearby hotel. Baby Peyton is not ready to leave yet but great news: she has been able to nurse! Only an ounce at a time so far but better than an I.V.! She is still scheduled to undergo the biopsy early this morning, so let's join in prayer that the outcome will be a positive one, and maybe she will be able to go home soon! May our merciful and almighty Father in heaven continue to pour out His blessings on her.

This Sweet Baby Needs Your Prayers!

Urgent! Please pray for precious little Peyton Rose, the great-niece of my dear sister-in-law. She was just born on October 31st and has been diagonosed with an intestinal disorder called Hirschsprung's Disease in which the nerve cells in the lower part of the large intestinal are non-existent. She needs lifesaving intensive medical care and probably surgery to alleviate intestinal blockage. With the Lord's help she will pull through this trial. Her mommy is with her but is recuperating from a C-Section so she and the rest of the family could use prayer as well.
*******UPDATE*******UPDATE*******UPDATE*******
Things are looking up for Peyton, praises be to God! They decided not to go ahead with the surgery as she seems to be eliminating on her own. So perhaps their diagnosis of Hirschsprung's was a bit hasty. She was scheduled for a biopsy but they have elected to hold off until Monday while they see how she does over the weekend. She has also been connected to an IV but she's a feisty little thing and keeps pulling it off so they may leave it off her and try feeding her orally. Her mommy would like to nurse her but doesn't know if they'll allow it. I'm praying that she will be able to get some of that colostrum ASAP, not to mention being held and cuddled by mama. Her daddy got to snuggle with her in the nursery, and I can just imagine the joy! Keep praying! Miracles are happening! :)
